As more and more of the workforce has shifted towards a contract-based, freelance model of employment, these professionals are in need of services to help with their bookkeeping—enter Co.llective; the first all-in-one digital, bookkeeping solution exclusively for self-employed entrepreneurs. In order to launch Collective in market, the brand was in need of a foundational brand book, complete with brand purpose, strategy, and visual identity.
This proposal for the launch brand identity takes a photographic approach and leverages portraiture of the community of solopreneurs the platform is built to serve. A striking and timeless typographic style as well as consistent enforcement of color help round out the identity and carve out a space for the platform in the marketplace that feels premium and informs future marketing initiatives through community storytelling.
