Almost everyone has a pair of jeans that they will never forget—a pair of jeans that was crucial to their identity. Maybe it’s that pair you got as a hand-me-down from your cool older sibling. Maybe it’s the pair you bought after you moved to the big city. Or, maybe it’s a pair you’ve had for decades. Our life stories are woven into the fabric of denim. In this campaign, we explored the denim stories of a diverse cast that demonstrates the nostalgic aesthetic of the Polo brand.
This campaign was benchmarked against the goal of repositioning the Polo brand as a contemporary fashion choice for denim shoppers while simultaneously expanding the canon of iconic Ralph Lauren imagery and storytelling. The deliverables ranged from paid and organic social media to in-story display, ecommerce, and traditional advertising.
